Clarium unveils plans to offer new data management software utilizng AI
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (PRWEB) July 25, 2004 -- Clarium Corporation (http://www.clarium.com) today unveiled its plans to release a data management product code named “Ambience”.
The product consolidates information from most databases and data sources, and then compares the information using a proprietary Artificial Intelligence (AI) engine that finds trends in the data.
Ambience also accepts information from traditional OLAP tools like COGNOS and SAS.
“This is an exciting time for us, this new product will allow clients to take their data a step further. For example, Data Marts have allowed us to “slice and dice” data, but they don’t find trends in the information.
Our clients have been asking us to find exceptions that are just impossible with traditional OLAP tools. Ambience will compare the information utilizing various dimensions already built into our code so clients can click on the exceptions as they appear,” Dennis White, Development Manager -Ambience, said in a statement.
Applications for this product are expected in many industries like manufacturing, supply chain, and inventory management. Ambience has entered final stages of development and Clarium expects to begin Beta testing late this year. The product operates on top of most popular databases like MS-SQL and Oracle.
“Ambience will complement any data management initiative, and we see it as a great addition to most commercially available OLAP tools, it’s development is the result of many years direct experience by our consultants and engineers,” said Rob Vazquez, Chief Executive Officer.

Clarium announces new operations Brazil
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (PRWEB) May 14, 2004 -- Clarium Consulting Corporation (http://www.clarium.com) today announced new operations in Brazil.
“This is a tremendous opportunity for us. Brazil has a clear vision of their future within the MERCOSUR free trade area. Their involvement there will invite more direct foreign investment.
Clarium wants to be positioned in this market ready to deliver critical information to the various industries,” Rob Vazquez, chief executive officer, said in a statement.
Clarium began consulting operations in Sao Paulo last June 2003. However, the management of the firm was handled completely out of Fort Lauderdale, FL USA.
The new facility will significantly cut expenses to Clarium and their clients, while opening new regional opportunities to other domestic cities like Brasilia, Belo Horizonte, and Rio de Janiero.
Market opening and economic stabilization have significantly enhanced Brazil's growth prospects. Brazil's exports have nearly doubled in the last decade, and imports have more than doubled.
Brazil has a diverse and sophisticated services industry as well. Mail and telecommunications are the largest, followed by banking, energy, commerce, and computing.
During the 1990s, Brazil's financial services industry underwent a major overhaul. The financial sector provides local firms a wide range of financial products. The largest financial firms are Brazilian (and the two largest banks are government-owned), but U.S. and other foreign firms have an important share of the market.
“I really don’t know how any IT services company can truly call themselves global without a direct presence in Brazil,” said Rob Vazquez.
